We have all heard of the adoption of a dog pound, or send $ 12 per month to help adopt an African child, but have you ever heard of the "Adopt a program bookmark" Well, Neither myself until the other day, and I had a good laugh when I saw him, as it was in our library. And yes, as a matter of fact, I needed a couple of bookmarks so that took, in other words, picked me up and took him for free.
Surprisingly, I was not the only person doing this, and it is something that the Friends of the Library’s program has done to help promote reading in the community, and the advertisement was Bookmarked Friends of the Library, or donate money to adult literacy program. I thought this was a wonderful idea of public relations. It’s amazing what people think creatively when given the chance.
Perhaps I will join the Friends of the Library, because I am still looking for these bookmarks very well remember to send $ 15. And to think that the price to make Bookmarked was probably less than one quarter, I’d say it was a good fund-raising campaign for them. That is, until I looked at the back of the bookmark, and the bottom is said to be "printed by the Printing Shop of Joe," and then I realized that the cost not bookmarked the Friends of the Library penniless.
Printing Shop Joe’s has donated the paper and printing, at no cost to them, and they did, I think I will do my next impression a lot of 1,000 cards being so good player community.
