NYC Group Provides “Green” Job Training
As it turns out, “going green” may actually help to put some green – the money kind – into the pockets of New Yorkers. STRIVE, a non-profit organization based out of East Harlem, works to transform lives through training and job placement. Recently, the group was awarded nearly $5 million to train people to do environmentally-friendly jobs.
